WinMagic’s exclusive partner newsletter captures channel activity across the globe and celebrates the achievements of our respected partners.

Channel Collaboration at InfoSecurity Europe

2014 April 29 — London — Annual InfoSecurity Europe breaks out in EMEA region in Earls Court. It is one of the most prestigious technologies and data security tradeshows in the EMEA region, thus a presence there is beneficial. The tradeshow attracts industry leaders, C-level executives and IT Managers at various verticals whose prime directive is staying on the cutting edge of information security.

WinMagic displayed in a 10’ by 10’ booth debuting our updated, modern and streamlined branding—animated by a green colour scheme. Also, in attendance were our UK partners: OISG, MSS and Gardner; who of which, pre-arranged 10 meetings and landed 49 additional meetings at our stand. The majority of those meetings were with companies who are actively looking into new security and encryption solutions. Valliant effort from our partners made this a lead generation success.

Hot topics, such as BitLocker, were at the forefront of the event. Darin Welfare, Vice President and General Manager of EMEA & India, elaborates:

“Despite a challenging UK Infosec last week given the London tube strikes, the WinMagic stand saw a positive number of customers and opportunities engaging with our team. Two particular messages resonated well, the upcoming CPA accreditation, giving WinMagic the opportunity to offer our unique capabilities to the UK government sectors and defence organisations, and ‘BitLocker Management’ for the company’s popular SecureDoc data security software”

Onlookers were magnetized by the unbridled enthusiasm of our team and the appeal towards BitLocker management. As Mr. Welfare addresses his gratitude, “I want to thank sincerely a number of our UK partners, particularly OSIG, Gardner Systems, Intellect and MSS for supporting the event…We are very excited and positive about the continued investment in our Channel Program this year and how this can benefit our partners and WinMagic alike.” Thus, emphasizing how collaborative Channel approach towards tradeshows, such as Infosecurity Europe, is beneficial for all involved.
