Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Pre-Sales Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in the data security, passwordless, and identity access management (IAM) field. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background coupled with excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients, understand their requirements, and provide tailored solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of our organization in delivering innovative security solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their unique business needs, challenges, and security requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on data security, passwordless authentication, and identity access management solutions.
  • Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our products.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop comprehensive proposals and solutions that address client requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle, including product evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and implementation planning.
  • Assist in responding to technical inquiries, RFPs, and RFIs in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering or solutions consulting role, preferably in the data security, passwordless authentication, or IAM domain.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including access control, authentication protocols, encryption, and identity management.
  • Hands-on experience with relevant technologies such as identity providers (IdPs), single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), privileged access management (PAM), and identity federation.
  • Proficiency in presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.  Preferably experienced in solutions selling.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are a plus.

Role Overview: The Senior Sales Executive at WinMagic is accountable for all facets of new-client acquisition and expansion within our small to medium-sized business segment (1-499 employees). Responsibilities encompass territory planning, prospecting, relationship building, managing sales cycles, pricing, delivering presentations, negotiations, and deal closure. In this fast-paced role, you will oversee deals from inception to completion, collaborating with pre-sales engineers, professional services, product management, and partners.

Our Senior Sales Executives are dedicated to understanding the specific challenges faced by prospects and customers, aligning WinMagic solutions to deliver positive business outcomes. They nurture strong relationships with clients and key partners while maintaining a deep understanding of WinMagic’s evolving technology and competitive differentiators. The role demands leadership, ethical conduct, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative approach with both internal stakeholders and clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Forecast and pursue opportunities to meet or surpass quarterly quotas within a defined territory
  • Foster relationships with members of the Sales Development Team
  • Develop compelling sales presentations and demonstrations that captivate prospects
  • Cultivate and manage a robust sales pipeline within the small to medium-sized business segment
  • Collaborate with partners and strategic alliances to expand reach and identify new opportunities

  • Proficiency in presenting and conducting demos for C-level executives
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
