Summary

The Account Director is responsible for achieving/exceeding quarterly and annual revenue goals set for the allocated territory and accounts.  The successful incumbent will be responsible for planning and executing a strategy designed to leverage existing success, to penetrate new target accounts to grow their territory. This is a true hunter position.  Other responsibilities include management of all account activities, coordinating all resources and complete ownership of the overall relationship of assigned accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prospect and manage named accounts, close new business by keeping customers informed on WinMagic’s capabilities and attaining high level of customer satisfaction resulting in customer retention, renewal of maintenance, and customer willingness to be a reference.

Reporting to Director of Marketing, this role is responsible for generating leads by working collaboratively with the sales & marketing team. Reporting to the head of sales, the Channel Manager, NA will be responsible for building and fostering relationships with our partners and resellers withing North America. You will help develop strategies to generate revenue and engage prospective customers through business development activities alongside our Channel partners through marketing initiatives such as events, campaigns, seminars etc.  This includes recruiting and developing resellers to obtain maximum market and territory coverage while ensuring a consistent pricing and service methodology across the various resellers and partners.

Reporting to the Director of Global Technical Support, the Technical Support Specialist will provide WinMagic customers in the EMEA region with an exceptional level of customer service in order to ensure all product support/technical incidents are handled in a timely manner and to the customer’s complete satisfaction. In additional to having a strong desire to excel in customer relations, the successful incumbent must possess effective communication skills, exceptional technical acumen and innovative troubleshooting to help resolve customer issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • The incumbent is responsible for first and second level support by helping to identify and resolve customer issues in a professional and in a timely manner (in accordance with published response times) through effective telephone or e-mail communication. The incumbent will own the issue from “cradle to grave” and work with other internal stakeholders as required to drive the issue to resolution.
  • The incumbent will manage customer relationships with an eye towards being an advocate for the customer and being completely accountable for what the customer needs from them.
