Human Error with Big Consequences

Everyone makes mistakes, after all we are only human, and no one is perfect. We are prone to mistakes, but what happens when these mistake have high consequences, not only affecting the individual that made the mistake, but millions of others. According to IT Governance, 32% of all incidents were due to personal or sensitive data being inappropriately disclosed or sent to the wrong recipient. This is especially true when it comes to data management and data security. Not only do these “human errors” affect the company image and can be very costly, but it also affects the individuals that trusted this company with their sensitive information.

Organizations need not only to invest in proper data management training for their employees, but they also need to invest in proper security tools that will protect sensitive information from the wrong eyes.
