We’ve teased about the SecureDoc updates coming next week, but it’s going to be more than just about updates to our software. When we talk about support for things like Windows 8 and UEFI there’s another aspect that’s being addressed next week – customer support.
Very soon we’ll introduce significant updates to how and what we offer customers as it relates to support. We’ll be expanding what we offer giving customers more choice and flexibility while at the same time giving clear, defined terms of service that will ideally help customers evaluate the options available to them.
We recognize the importance of customer support – whether that’s from our support team or our Pre and Post-sales engineers – and having clearly defined terms of our service, the offerings and features customers can take advantage of is critical. Much like the company and our software is evolving, so too must the way we support customers.
And while our support offerings are going to change, so too will the breadth of our support as it relates to service and overall hardware. Hardware is another key element of our announcement next week and our ability to support a much broader range of products available in market. That will include things such as Self Encrypting Drives as well as OEM devices ranging from laptops to the latest Windows 8 tablets being introduced in market.
So stay tuned true believers, good things are coming next week.
