Reporting to the Director of Global Technical Support, the Technical Support Specialist will provide WinMagic customers in the EMEA region with an exceptional level of customer service in order to ensure all product support/technical incidents are handled in a timely manner and to the customer’s complete satisfaction. In additional to having a strong desire to excel in customer relations, the successful incumbent must possess effective communication skills, exceptional technical acumen and innovative troubleshooting to help resolve customer issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • The incumbent is responsible for first and second level support by helping to identify and resolve customer issues in a professional and in a timely manner (in accordance with published response times) through effective telephone or e-mail communication. The incumbent will own the issue from “cradle to grave” and work with other internal stakeholders as required to drive the issue to resolution.
  • The incumbent will manage customer relationships with an eye towards being an advocate for the customer and being completely accountable for what the customer needs from them.
  • The incumbent is responsible for maintaining and updating customer information within our Salesforce Service Cloud to include items such as technical environment, contact listing, metadata, database information and workflows. The incumbent is also responsible for clearly documenting all customer interactions within our Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • The incumbent is responsible for providing comprehensive reporting of software defects and customer enhancement requests to Product Management, QA and Development teams.
  • The incumbent is responsible for authoring technical documents for inclusion in the Knowledge Base to the benefit of both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • The incumbent is expected to participate in an alternating 8-hour shift schedule with team members to provide customer.

Required Skills: 

  • Three or more years of Experience in a technical customer support environment working with various operating systems and networks.
  • A demonstrable history of supporting enterprise customers and enterprise software is required. By demonstratable, we mean that you must be able to show to us that you have previously supported enterprise software and enterprise customers.

Reporting to Director of Marketing, this role is responsible for generating leads by working collaboratively with the sales & marketing team. Reporting to the head of sales, the Channel Manager, NA will be responsible for building and fostering relationships with our partners and resellers withing North America. You will help develop strategies to generate revenue and engage prospective customers through business development activities alongside our Channel partners through marketing initiatives such as events, campaigns, seminars etc.  This includes recruiting and developing resellers to obtain maximum market and territory coverage while ensuring a consistent pricing and service methodology across the various resellers and partners.
