Last week was a busy week for us WinMagic folks. As we’ve entered the new fiscal year for the company, so began our annual Sales & Marketing Kick-off event for our FY’13. It’s the event where the key customer and partner-facing teams get together and plot world domination of the data encryption and security market.
During our retreat a lot of information was covered by the global sales and marketing teams, from vendor partners like Lenovo and distribution partners such as Interwork. There’s a lot for us to be excited about this year. We’re seeing tremendous growth on the horizon in 2013 and there are no signs that our momentum is slowing – it’s definitely picking up speed.
We work in a very competitive market against competition that is significantly larger than us with much deeper pockets, and yet we continue to succeed. It’s something we’re very proud of and all the work we’ve put in during the past year is really starting to pay off. Not just from a sales and marketing perspective, but from an overall company perspective.
SecureDoc 6.1 is now in market, and it’s one of the most promising products we’ve released in the past few years. We continue to drive innovation into our product offerings and effectively differentiate from our competition with features and functionality they continue to play catch-up on.
Now, let’s take a look at our our roadmap and our sales targets for FY13. This year… yeah, like we’d actually do that! The reality is we’re kicking the year off with a new product, new opportunities and continued expansion into new areas including India and the Middle East. It’s exciting to be in the position we’re in with 2013 expected to be an epic year for our company.
The last couple of blog posts I’ve done have been very ‘rah rah’ WinMagic – it’s because we’re proud and excited about what we’ve done and what’s coming this year. We hope you are too.
