Thi Nguyen-Huu
Chief Executive Officer and President

Thi Nguyen-Huu founded WinMagic Data Security in 1997, and currently serves as the company’s CEO and President. Under his direction and guidance, WinMagic has become a world-wide industry leader in data protection solutions for desktops, mobile computers, and PDA’s.

Nguyen-Huu is the principal architect of SecureDoc™, WinMagic’s award-winning full disk encryption solution. Designed to be the ‘standard’ within the industry, SecureDoc is the product of choice for security-conscious organizations around the world.

A recognized thought leader in the fields of IT security, applied cryptography and disk storage systems, Nguyen-Huu is a frequent speaker at government and industry forums. He is best known as a pioneer in the integration of smart cards and PKI with full-disk encryption, and for working with the U.S. National Security Agency to develop crypto solutions to protect government secret data.
WinMagic is Nguyen-Huu’s third successful venture. Prior to forming the company, he founded two consulting firms that provided software solutions for industrial process automation. Born in Hue, Vietnam, Nguyen-Huu is a graduate of the Technical University in Konstanz, Germany, and began his career as an applications engineer with Siemens AG.

Garry L McCracken
Vice President, Technology Partnerships

Garry McCracken has more than 25 years of experience in data communications and information security. He has been responsible for the development of WinMagic's full-disk encryption solutions for desktops, laptops, and PDAs. More recently he has focused on forming partnerships to incorporate new technologies into WinMagic solutions. Prior to working at WinMagic, McCracken was vice President at Kasten Chase, a publicly traded technology company, where he played a key role in assuring the company's compliance with strict security standards imposed by the Canadian and International Industrial Security Directorate. He has also made significant contributions to the company's research and development program, custom development services, and its ISO-9001 certified quality system. McCracken has worked on many projects with influential security organizations including the Communications Security Establishment and, in particular, managing the development of remote access data security solutions for the U.S. National Security Agency’s RASP program.

McCracken holds an Honours, Co-op, Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo. He furthered his education by successfully completing CATA's Certified Advanced Technology Manager program, writing the BS 7799-2 Information Security Management System Auditor exam, and obtaining the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation from (ISC)2.

Steve Armes
Vice President, Sales – North America

Steve Armes leads WinMagic’s sales efforts throughout North America. With more than 20 years experience in technology and software sales and marketing, Steve oversees the strategic development and implementation of all WinMagic’s sales and channel programs for North America. Tasked with training and leading the company’s North American sales team to maximize growth and market penetration, he is also responsible for the continued development and expansion of WinMagic’s North American channel program. Prior to joining WinMagic, Mr. Armes served as Regional Director – Canada for several large multinational security and storage companies, including Tumbleweed Communications, Proofpoint Inc, Neoteris Inc. and Seagate Software, NSMG. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto.

He is located at WinMagic’s headquarters in Mississauga, ON (Toronto) Canada.

Michael Zampini
Director, North American Sales

Michael Zampini brings more than 20 years of experience building and leading national and regional information technology sales teams to WinMagic Inc. As the Director for North American Sales, Zampini oversees the strategic development and implementation of all WinMagic’s sales and channel programs for North America. Tasked with training and leading the company’s North American sales team to maximize growth and market penetration, Zampini is also responsible for the continued development and expansion of WinMagic’s North American channel program.

A graduate of Ryerson University in Toronto (Canada), Zampini has been the recipient of sales awards from such well known information technology vendors as Compaq, NEC, and Toshiba.

He is located at WinMagic’s headquarters in Mississauga, ON (Toronto) Canada.

Robin Singh
Vice President, Sales - EMEA and Asia Pacific

Robin Singh, is an Industry Veteran with over 20 years experience in International Channel Sales and Development. Prior to WinMagic Robin was Director of Global Channels for Go-Remote, he was then appointed VP and General Manager for EMEA where he grew revenues both in Channels and Enterprise Sales by over 70%.
Prior to Go-Remote Robin worked for other Technology Companies in various Sr. Channel Management positions including Unisys, Avnet and Jamcracker.

Robin was also the successful owner of a MicroAge Franchise in Canada and the USA from 1983 to 1995. During this time he received many sales accolades from IBM, Compaq and AT&T.

Scott O’Neill
Director of Marketing

As Director of Marketing, Scott O’Neill has overall responsibility for marketing at WinMagic. Scott has been involved in the marketing and sales of enterprise technology solutions since 1995 and he drives the planning, development and execution of marketing communications, demand generation, PR, analyst relations, product marketing, and customer engagement for all WinMagic solutions in North America and internationally.

Mr. O’Neill’s career spans a range of progressively challenging functional and management roles in marketing & sales with leading multinational technology vendors including PeopleSoft, Software Innovation and Roadpost. Scott has consistently delivered successful sales & marketing initiatives for CRM, enterprise content management, workflow, financial systems, business intelligence, telephony and the associated professional services with all of these solutions.
